March and April in the YA Room

Saturday, March 4 @ 10am
C2 Education of Carle Place will be conducting free practice tests for high school students. Choose from the PSAT, SAT or ACT.  The tests can range from 3-4 hours depending on which test you register to take. On Thursday, March 9 at 7pm, students and their parents can attend the Scores Back Seminar to get their results.  Sign up February 18.

This classic fairy tale is hitting the big screen and we are celebrating with some special programs.

Members of the East Meadow High School Kickline will be here to demonstrate and teach some of the basic kickline moves.  Kickline is a competitive team sport and involves high kicks, energetic dance routines and acrobatics.  Wear comfortable clothing.  Sign up April 6. Open to students in grades 4-8


Young photographers ages 15-18 living in the East Meadow School District can pick up an application for our annual photography contest in the YA Room.  Applicants can submit up to two photographs in either color or black & white. Special prizes will be awarded for photographs depicting the theme “The East Meadow Community”. All photographs must be submitted to the Young Adult Department by Friday, April 21.  Prizes will be presented at the awards ceremony on Thursday, May 18, at 7 pm
